F.A.Q.General Questions 1. Do I need an ABN (Australian Business Number) to buy from these wholesalers? If you are an Australian resident you will need an ABN to purchase from most of the wholesalers on the list - overseas purchasers don't require one. You will find that 99% of genuine Australian wholesalers will require you to have an ABN, & possibly a registered business name. An ABN can be obtained for free from the Australian Taxation Office. 2. I'm looking for some wholesalers in Melbourne, do you have any there? Yes, but it actually doesn't matter how far the wholesaler is located from your business. A large percentage of a wholesaler's business comes from interstate. Wholesalers are different from retailers, in that you don't usually go to their business to place an order, rather place it by phone, fax, or email - they will send you a catalogue of their products by snail mail or email. Freight costs within Australia are relatively cheap, so ultimately, their distance from you makes little difference. 3. Will the wholesalers sell overseas, to a country other than Australia? Yes, most of the Australian wholesalers welcome overseas orders. It's good for their business to gain international customers, as it gives their product more exposure & opens up many more potential markets. 4. The last list I bought was full of links that didn't work, how do I know this one isn't the same? The list is checked for broken links every third month. We make a note of any broken links found, and if they still aren't functioning the next check, they are then removed from the list. In some cases a link may simply not be working as the server that the site is hosted on may be down for some reason, which is why we don't remove them until they haven't worked for 2 months in a row. Usually there is less than 1% (about 5 links) not working on our checks. 5. How large is the file? The Aussie Wholesale Suppliers Guide, 2009 requires a download of about 1.7MB - about 5 mins on a dial-up connection, or less than a minute on broadband. 6. I sent you an email 2 days ago & you haven't got back to me! All emails are replied to within 24 hours (only exception may be on weekends). If you haven't heard back from me within that time, it may be due to the fact that you sent the email to the wrong address (all emails need to be sent to
); or my reply may be sitting in your junk/spam mail folder (some email providers like Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo etc. may treat it as spam).
Order Questions 1. Do you accept any other form of payment apart from PayPal? Yes. The only way we can take credit card payments is through PayPal, but we will also accept a money order/bank cheque (in AUD). Click here to print out an order form, if you want to pay by mail. 2. When will I receive my order? If you pay via PayPal, you will be automatically sent an email containing the download instructions within 5 minutes. If you pay via bank cheque/money order, you will receive your download link within 12 to 24 hours of receipt of payment - please allow up to 5 days for payment to arrive.
